From a spectacular hillside setting, Andaz Costa Rica Resort at Peninsula Papagayo offers breathtaking views of Culebra Bay on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast. Each of the 177 rooms, suites and villas balance modern design, with touches of character that blend into the natural surroundings. Woven textiles, solid woods and carved artifacts highlight the rich Costa Rican aesthetic. Guestrooms and suites offer a spacious balcony with breathtaking bay and tropical forest views. Four of the 21 suites feature plunge pools, and the two bedroom Presidential Suite offers a private full-sized pool. Andaz Villas offer 2 & 3 bedroom floor plans, all with private pools. The Penthouse are multi-levels unit with rooftop private plunge pool.

Located on a 1,400-acre master planned development set on a jagged pair of peninsulas that slip majestically into the warm waters of the Papagayo Gulf. November 2022 - New adventure park to open in the Exclusive gated community of Peninsula Papagayo
In partnership with world-class adventure park pioneer, Victor Gallo, the developers of Peninsula Papagayo worked to create a unique aerial adventure experience exclusive to Peninsula Papagayo residents and guests. The new wilderness outpost in Palmares (Peninsula Papagayo) will debut an exciting collection of aerial adventure experiences, including tree surfing, aerial trekking, ziplining and more. For those who prefer to keep their feet on solid ground, the outpost will also offer an expanded network of hiking and biking trails in an enchanted forest filled with natural wonders
Huertas Experiences
True to our promise of stimulating your senses through distinctively local experiences, Andaz Costa Rica invites you to experience an authentic farm-to-table dinner. Start your day visiting El Triunfo, a local rural town located within a 20 minutes drive from the resort, in the company of one of our chefs. Thanks to non-profit Creciendo Juntos, ten families of this small and rural town learned to till the land and create gardens in their own backyards, as an opportunity to face the adversity that came with the pandemic. These gardens were adopted by our resort to provide the fresh vegetables that we serve on our plates. During this experience, you will be able to visit up to 3 families, who will open their doors warmly and with our signature tico smile. With your own hands, you will harvest some of the vegetables that our chef will use to prepare a magical dinner for you and your family. The menu will be totally personalized based on your preferences and the fresh produce harvested in the morning. There is a fee to partake in this activity .
Supporting The Community
Andaz Costa Rica Resort at Peninsula Papagayo is very proud to partner with Creciendo Juntos (Growing Together), a nonprofit organization that has changed the lives of thousands of children and families in Guanacaste for 20 years. Supporting the objectives of Growing Together, this alliance seeks to promote the integral development of children and young people from 19 neighboring communities, including 21 educational centers, the association’s preventive medicine clinic and hundreds of families living in conditions of poverty and extreme poverty. Since its opening, Andaz has promoted various programs that have contributed to the well-being of these communities. Currently, due to the global pandemic, we have adapted these programs to focus on meeting the basic needs of these communities that have been greatly affected.

Our holistic approach is focused on our three landmarks of wellbeing, Feel, Fuel & Function. The 11,000-square-foot ONDA Spa is nestled deep in the back of the resort amongst the jungles and houses nine lavish treatment rooms, including four couple’s treatment rooms. ONDA Spa offers an extensive spa menu of treatments, beautifications, and customized programs such as massages, body scrubs and wraps, facial therapies, manicures, pedicures, and waxing. Our new outdoor functional workout deck offers TRX, kettlebells and an assortment of equipment for an invigorating workout to help you achieve your strength and stability goals.
