Comfort is top priority in the rooms. The large windows open out onto teak balconies overlooking the garden, and the daylight draws attention to the harmony of the colors and materials inside. The fabrics are in tones of light brown and grey, which complement the English oak flooring and highlight the black furnishings. Some of the rooms have meditation corners, complete with tatami. A large space is dedicated to the bathroom which is separated from the bedroom by a thick bronze net which creates unexpected transparencies. The black marble from Zimbawe adds to the sophistication and suggestively plays with the warm tones of the Navona travertine.
The superior and the deluxe room categories are very similar in shape and location, though they vary in size. The superior rooms are about 400 square feet while the deluxe are about 450/490 square feet.
All the rooms have a minimalist yet enveloping feeling, blending contemporary design, high technology and lavish materials, such as oak and bronze details for the rooms, Zimbabwe and travertine marble for the bathrooms.
Each room is meant to be luminous and spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows both in the bedroom and in the bathroom. A gold mesh screen divides the space between the bedroom and the bath area, which takes up a third of the total room space. In some cases teakwood balconies allow a spectacular view of the garden.
