Quinta River

Generously sized and contemporary in style, elegant and comfortable, with privileged panoramic views over the Douro River.

Featuring a contemporary décor wedded to the Six Senses natural style and a nod to a past era, plus delightful river views, these rooms offer a generous 495 to 538 square feet (46 to 50 square meters). They present a different layout that includes a reading and seating area plus a very spacious bathroom. Some rooms have a private balcony or terrace.

Quinta Deluxe

These units are located in the new wing and include a comfortable reading and sitting area and a spacious bathroom. Some of the rooms have two smallish windows facing the valley and heritage building’s rooftops, and others have a large floor-to-ceiling window with wonderful woodland. They have good access to an elevator. The terrace-facing rooms have steps accessing to the outside and have a small seating area.

Quinta Suite

Quinta Courtyard Suite

These suites are the resort’s premier suite with a pure elegance and precious privacy. Both are located on the fourth floor of an exclusive wing and offers Douro River and vineyard views. Quinta Courtyard Suite comprises one bedroom, a bathroom with separate toilet, gracious living and dining areas and a beautiful balcony overlooking the river.

Valley Superior

Both Valley Superior rooms have access to shared gardens and a gazebo as well as a heated swimming pool and an outdoor hot tub. Perfect for larger parties or families!

Originally a wine lodge, the building has been refurbished to offer up to nine bedrooms. There are two Valley Superior rooms, one with a bathtub. Both have access to the shared lounge with a cozy fireplace located on the ground floor. Outside, there are fragrant gardens planted with native shrubs, leading down to an outdoor hot tub and shared swimming pool. The ultimate flexibility to book one room or all nine!

Valley Premier

The Valley Premier room leads out to a splendid private terrace with an outdoor hot tub and offers access to various shared facilities including a lounge with cozy fireplace, gardens, gazebo, a heated swimming pool and outdoor hot tub.

Located on the fifth floor of an exclusive wing of our Douro vineyard hotel, this suite is ideal if you want to hide away (although you may not resist the lure of our restaurant or spa for long). The Open Kitchen and Terrace

The Vale Abraão Restaurant

The beautiful classic décor of this traditional room creates a warmly intimate atmosphere with a myriad of detail. The menu’s market-inspired fare incorporates the best in regional cuisine, perfectly combining fresh ingredients and seasonings. Every dish beautifully showcases the local ingredients and flavors in a very global manner. To add some fun to the culinary experience, secret destination dining is a pop-up experience with dinner tables tucked into the woods by the river. The location and the menu are kept secret until the last minute as a delightful surprise.
