Insignia - Eastern Canada
September
Pros: Specialty restaurants were great, Spa treatments were very nice, nice size ship,
Cons: Several of the ports we stopped at were very small, as a result the number of shore excursions were limited.
Recommended: Yes
Cabins are on the smaller side, especially the bathrooms. The staff was excellent, friendly and helpful, they got to know you and how you liked to order in the restaurants and bars.

Great Experience
August
Pros: Excellent service; small ship comforts; access to a larger number of ports
Cons: Internet accessibility sometimes poor
Recommended: Yes
I loved the small ship ability to meet and get to know a large number of people from many countries and walks of life. As a solo traveler, I appreciated solo room accommodations. As a solo traveler, I appreciated efforts by the ship’s crew to provide solo social meet and greet experiences. The crew was so wonderful to meet needs to the best of their ability. The dining experiences were wonderful, the food was excellent and the waitstaff was top-notch. Room stewards were efficient and accommodating of every request. I met many passengers who only would travel Oceania and would only travel a small ship like Insignia or her small Oceania sister ships. Happy repeat customers speak volumes! I would love to sail on Insignia again.

New York to Iceland
July
Pros: Entrrtainment was great. The first five days of the cruise were awsome. The ship was very clean.
Cons: 6 days at sea, cruise went downhill, lost two ports in Greenland, very cold foggy weather, confined to being inside
Recommended: No
The cruise went downhill after leaving New Foundlsnd. The service in the cafe was awful. Tolls and pastries were not fresh, food selection limited, had to wait to long to get food cooked at the omelet and grill station, had to find your own table, The cruise director was distant and cold, unfriendly, when leaving the ship did not serve a continental breakfast for very early departures and no presence of the cruise staff to bid us a farewell. The activities were very repetitive along with lack of yoga, Pilates, stretch, and aerobic exercises. Over all Avery disappointing cruise. Lack of information about what to do st each port and no presentation of the history of Greenland.

Holiday Cruise
December
Pros: Excellent entertainment, food service and a great Masseuse
Cons: The Spa receptionist upon arrival for spa services were not very friendly or accommodating and the spa area itself lacked the necessary items usually seen in other cruise ships
Recommended: Yes
Our main disappointment with this cruise was the excursions. One that we had booked was cancelled and one was not as it was described in the description. We voiced a written complaint along with other passengers but we never got a response.

Cruisin'
December
Pros: Great restaurants, Friendly crew, Beautiful Cabins & Smooth sailing
Cons: None
Recommended: Yes
Oceania's written policy of no open-toed sandals to be worn in the dining room and gourmet restaurants should either be enforced or eliminated. It was unfortunate that we were in 2 ports when shops were mostly closed on a Sunday and on Christmas Day but we still enjoyed walking around the dock areas where there were busy venders.
